I am a recent high school graduate from Adelaide and a third-year university student at The University of Melbourne who has achieved an unadjusted Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank of approximately 99.75 (44/45 International Baccalaureate (IB) points). My ~2 years of tutoring experience include teaching Year 8-12 students in general mathematics and IB, South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) Biology, Chemistry, French B, Mathematics and Psychology in person and online. Moreover, I am currently volunteering as a masterclass tutor with Global Health Youth Connect. I believe that I possess the skills necessitated to effectively impart knowledge to and teach others. This is because I enjoy aiding students in developing efficient studying strategies and solutions to their academic problems, as well as explaining abstract concepts in an interactive & lucid manner specifically tailored to each student’s areas of concern, capabilities and learning style. Some of the tasks that I have successfully conducted as a tutor include collecting and guiding students through carefully-collated, relevant and useful learning resources such as externally-sourced worksheets, official study guide questions and past examination papers; and delivering in-depth, specific feedback on students' academic assessments, including 2 SACE Maths Methods investigations, 5 IB Chemistry internal assessments, 7 English essays and 15 SACE Biology & Chemistry laboratory reports so far. As a result, my tutoring students have shown excellent improvement in their academic performance.
